If you run a business in the United States or the United Kingdom, you have probably been quoted $2,000 to $6,000 a month for SEO by a local agency. Then someone told you that an SEO company in Pakistan can do the same work for a fraction of that price.
That is true. But it is only half the story.
Some SEO agencies in Pakistan will rank your site and send you real leads. Others will sell you 500 spam backlinks and a monthly PDF full of graphs that mean nothing. The gap between the two is huge, and most business owners cannot tell them apart before they have already paid for three months.
I am Muhammad Tayyab. I am an SEO expert in Pakistan and I work only with home service businesses in the UK, USA and Australia. This guide explains how SEO services in Pakistan actually work, what fair pricing looks like, and the exact questions that separate a good SEO company from a bad one.

An SEO company in Pakistan usually charges between $300 and $1,500 per month for a small business campaign, compared to $2,500 to $8,000 in the US or UK. You get the same core work, which is technical fixes, Google Business Profile optimization, content, and link building. The main risk is quality control, so you need to check proof of work before you pay.

Why US and UK Businesses Hire an SEO Company in Pakistan
The reason is simple. Cost.
A senior SEO manager in London or New York costs a company £45,000 to £80,000 a year in salary alone. The same skill level in Lahore or Multan costs a small fraction of that. That gap is not about quality. It is about currency and cost of living.
Pakistan has one of the largest freelance workforces in the world. Freelancers in Pakistan brought in around $400 million in foreign exchange in a single financial year, and the wider IT export sector crossed $2.8 billion. That did not happen by accident. It happened because thousands of people here spent years working directly with clients in the US, UK, Canada, UAE and Australia.
Three other reasons matter:
- English is a working language. Business, education and government documents in Pakistan run in English. You will not need a translator for calls or reports.
- The time zone actually helps. Pakistan is 5 hours ahead of the UK and 10 hours ahead of New York. Work gets done while you sleep. You wake up to a completed report.
- Google is Google everywhere. Search ranking factors do not change by country. The same technical SEO, schema markup and link building work in Manchester as it does in Multan.
The catch is that the low barrier to entry also attracted a lot of people who learned SEO from a 2016 YouTube video and never updated. That is what the rest of this guide protects you from.
What SEO Services in Pakistan Actually Include
Any real SEO services company in Pakistan should cover these six areas. If a proposal is missing three of them, it is not a full campaign.
Technical SEO
This is the foundation. It means fixing what stops Google from crawling and indexing your pages properly.
The work includes crawl error fixes in Google Search Console, canonical tag problems, broken internal links, XML sitemap cleanup, redirect chains, and Core Web Vitals. Core Web Vitals are Google’s page speed and stability scores, and slow sites lose rankings and leads at the same time.
I use Screaming Frog to crawl the whole site, then Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights to confirm the fixes worked. If an SEO company cannot show you before and after crawl data, they are guessing.

On-Page SEO
Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, image alt text and schema markup from Schema.org.
Schema is the code that tells Google what your page is about in a language it reads directly. For a service business, LocalBusiness and Service schema help you show up in rich results and AI Overviews. Most Pakistani SEO agencies skip this. It takes an hour per page and clients never ask about it, so it quietly disappears from the scope.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
If you serve customers in a physical area, this is where most of your money should go.
Local SEO services in Pakistan for a US or UK client means Google Business Profile optimization, category selection, service listings, geo-tagged photos, Google Posts, review generation, and citation building on directories that matter in your country. For the UK that means Yell, Checkatrade and Thomson Local. For the US it means BBB, Angi, Yelp and industry directories.

The goal is the Map Pack, which is the block of three business listings that shows above the normal search results. That block gets the majority of clicks for any “near me” or “city + service” search.
I track Map Pack position with Local Falcon, which shows your ranking on a grid across the whole service area instead of a single point. It is the difference between “we rank number one” and “we rank number one in the three suburbs where your customers live.”
Content and Keyword Strategy
Keyword research using Ahrefs and Semrush, mapped to real pages. Service pages, city pages, and blog content that answers what buyers actually type.
For a plumber in Phoenix that means one page for “emergency plumber Phoenix,” separate pages for each suburb, and blog posts on things like water heater failure signs. Not one page trying to rank for everything.
Link Building
Real links from real sites. Local sponsorships, supplier pages, industry directories, guest posts on sites with actual traffic, and digital PR.
Be careful here. Cheap SEO packages in Pakistan often mean bulk directory submissions and private blog networks. Those can get your site penalised. Ask any SEO company in Pakistan exactly where the links will come from and ask for samples from past clients.
Reporting
Monthly reports in Looker Studio or a similar tool, showing keyword positions, Map Pack rankings, organic traffic, calls and form fills. Connected to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics account so the numbers are verifiable.
If the report is a screenshot of a rank tracker with no account access, that is a red flag.
SEO Packages in Pakistan: Real Pricing
Here is what SEO price in Pakistan looks like for an international client. These are the bands I see across the market, not just my own rates.
| Package level | Monthly cost (USD) | What it usually covers | Best for |
| Starter | $250 to $500 | GBP optimization, basic on-page, 5 to 10 keywords, small citation batch | Single-location business in a low competition city |
| Growth | $500 to $1,200 | Full technical audit and fixes, 20 to 40 keywords, service area pages, monthly content, ongoing links | Most small and mid-sized service businesses |
| Aggressive | $1,200 to $2,500 | Multi-city or multi-location, heavy content output, digital PR links, CRO work | Businesses in competitive metros or with multiple branches |
For local Pakistani clients, SEO charges in Pakistan usually run between PKR 30,000 and PKR 150,000 per month, which lines up with the same bands.
How much does SEO cost per month in Pakistan compared to the US? A US agency doing the same Growth level work would charge $2,500 to $5,000. A UK agency would charge £1,800 to £3,500. That is the whole reason this market exists.
A warning on the bottom end. If someone offers you affordable SEO services in Pakistan at $99 a month, understand what that buys. At that price, after the platform fee, the person is earning a few dollars an hour. They cannot afford to do manual outreach, write real content or run a proper audit. What they can afford is automated software that fires off junk links. That is not cheap SEO. That is a cleanup bill you pay later.
Should You Hire an SEO Agency, an SEO Freelancer in Pakistan, or an In-House Person?
This is the decision most business owners get wrong.
SEO agency in Pakistan
You get a team. Someone writes, someone builds links, someone handles technical work. Good for large sites with a lot of moving parts.
The downside is that the person who sold you the project is rarely the person doing the work. Your account often ends up with a junior. Ask directly: who is running my account day to day, and how many other accounts do they manage?

SEO freelancer in Pakistan
You get the person who does the work. No account manager layer, no markup, faster decisions, direct communication.
An SEO freelancer in Pakistan is the right choice when you are a single location or small multi-location business, you want one person accountable for results, and you want to keep costs predictable. The risk is capacity. One person can only take on so many clients, so ask how many they currently run.
This is the model I use. When you hire me, you speak to me. I run the audit, I write the strategy, I do the work, and I sign the report.
In-house hire
Only makes sense once you are spending more than about $4,000 a month on outsourced SEO, or you have a large content operation. Below that, an outside SEO consultant in Pakistan costs less and brings wider experience.
Where you find them
Most people find an SEO expert in Pakistan through Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn or a referral. Marketplaces give you escrow protection and a review history, which is useful the first time. Direct hire costs less because there is no 10 to 20 percent platform fee. Start on a platform if you want the safety net, move direct once trust is built.
How to Check if an SEO Company in Pakistan Is Actually Good
Use this as a checklist before you pay anyone. It works for any SEO agency in Pakistan, any freelancer, and honestly any agency anywhere.
1. Ask for Google Search Console screenshots, not rank tracker screenshots. Rank trackers are easy to fake. GSC data shows real clicks, impressions and average position from Google itself. I publish six client GSC screenshots on my site for this exact reason.
2. Ask for live client URLs. Not logos. Actual websites you can open and search for yourself. If they say every client is under NDA, that is usually a lie. Some clients are private, all of them are not.
3. Ask what happens in month one. A good answer sounds like: full technical audit, GBP audit, competitor analysis of your five closest rivals, and a prioritised 30 day action plan. A bad answer is “we start posting content and building backlinks.”
4. Ask about the contract. Local SEO takes 90 days minimum to show real movement. A short initial period followed by month to month is fair. A 12 month lock-in with no exit clause is not.
5. Ask about guarantees. Nobody can guarantee a number one ranking. Google does not sell that and neither can any SEO company in Pakistan. If someone guarantees position one in 30 days, walk away. What a professional can commit to is a defined scope of work and transparent reporting.
6. Ask which tools they pay for. Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, BrightLocal and Local Falcon all cost real money every month. Someone running a serious operation pays for at least a few of these. Someone using only free tools is running a hobby.
7. Check they do white hat SEO. White hat means following Google’s guidelines. Ask directly whether they use private blog networks, bought links or auto-generated content. Get the answer in writing.
8. Talk to them on a call. Fifteen minutes on Zoom tells you more than fifty messages. You are hiring a person, not a package.
SEO Companies by City in Pakistan
Most SEO work is remote, so location matters less than it used to. But it is worth knowing where the industry clusters.
Lahore is the biggest hub. Most of the well known SEO agencies in Pakistan are based here, and the largest pool of experienced specialists sits in this city. If you search for an SEO company in Lahore, Pakistan, you will get the most options and the widest range of quality.
Karachi is the commercial capital and has strong ecommerce and startup SEO talent, since most large retail and fintech brands are headquartered there.
Islamabad has a heavier concentration of IT firms and SaaS companies, so SEO experts in Islamabad often come from a technical or B2B background.
Multan and other cities produce a growing number of independent specialists working directly with overseas clients. I did my Master’s degree at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan and started here before shifting to international clients full time.
For a US or UK business, none of this changes your outcome. What matters is the individual, their proof of work and how they communicate.

Hire Me: SEO Expert in Pakistan for UK, USA and Australian Businesses
Here is my background so you can judge it properly.
I am Muhammad Tayyab, an SEO specialist with over 5 years of hands-on experience. I hold a Master’s degree from Bahauddin Zakariya University and I am BrightLocal certified. I have won an SEO Excellence Award for a 40 percent organic traffic lift.
Where I have worked:
- Business Consultant and Business Developer at XcelRank UK
- SEO Team Lead at Tripventura, covering UAE and Turkey
- SEO Manager and Team Leader at IT Lesta, Dubai
- Content Planner at Imperial Collection
What I do now. I work only with plumbing, heating and home service businesses across the UK, USA and Australia. That includes plumbers, HVAC companies, locksmiths, roofers, water damage restoration firms and cleaning companies.
I made that choice on purpose. A generalist agency has to relearn your industry on your budget. I already know the keywords, the seasonality, the customer intent and the competitor playbooks in this niche.
Some results:
- Took longislandlaundry.com from 79 to 4,200 monthly organic visits in 5 months
- Boiler repair company in Manchester, UK: 0 to 84 calls per month, top 3 Map Pack for “boiler repair Manchester” in 5 months, no paid ads
- Emergency plumber in Phoenix, Arizona: number one Map Pack across 7 suburbs using a service area page strategy plus 120 citations
- Hot water specialist in Sydney: 6 times organic traffic growth from 28 city and suburb pages with schema and local links
- Average increase in monthly calls across clients: 312 percent
I currently have 9 client sites ranking in the Map Pack across three countries, including boilerrepair.net, emergencyplumber24hr.uk, proplumbertx.com and thebrisbaneplumbers.com.au.
Tools I use daily: Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Schema.org, Looker Studio, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
What I am building now: AI SEO, Answer Engine Optimization, Generative Engine Optimization and LLM optimization. Search is shifting toward AI Overviews and chat-based answers, and the businesses that get cited inside those answers will win the next five years.
My terms:
- Engagements start at $500 per month
- Free 15 minute video audit before you commit to anything
- Month to month after an initial 90 day setup period, because that is how long local SEO takes to compound
- You get direct access to me, not an account manager
Open reporting. I publish real client deliverables on my site, including a full SEO audit and action plan, a Google Search Console errors report, an on-page SEO report and my complete portfolio. You can read them before you contact me.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to hire an SEO company in Pakistan?
Between $250 and $2,500 per month depending on scope and competition. Most small service businesses land in the $500 to $1,200 range. Local Pakistani clients typically pay PKR 30,000 to PKR 150,000 per month.
How long does SEO take to work?
Map Pack movement usually starts in 30 to 60 days. Real, sustained lead growth normally lands between months 3 and 6, depending on how competitive your city is. Anyone promising faster is selling you something.
Is it safe to hire an SEO freelancer in Pakistan?
Yes, if you check properly. Use the eight point checklist above, start on a platform with escrow if it is your first time, and begin with a paid audit before committing to a monthly retainer.
Can a Pakistani SEO expert rank a US or UK website?
Yes. Google’s ranking systems are the same worldwide. What matters is understanding local search behaviour in your market, which comes from working in it. I run separate playbooks for the UK, USA and Australia because customers in each market search with different words. A UK homeowner searches “boiler repair.” An American searches “water heater repair.” Same problem, different keyword.
What is the difference between an SEO company and an SEO consultant in Pakistan?
A company gives you a team with specialists in each area, usually at a higher price and with less direct access. A consultant or freelancer gives you one accountable person at a lower cost. For most small and mid-sized businesses, the consultant model gets better results because nothing gets lost between departments.
Do you offer white hat SEO only?
Yes. Every link is manually placed, every piece of content is written for a human reader first, and nothing I do would embarrass you if Google looked at it closely.
Which cities in Pakistan have the best SEO experts?
Lahore has the largest talent pool, Karachi has strong ecommerce specialists, and Islamabad has more technical and B2B SEO people. But the individual matters far more than the city.
Do you work with businesses outside plumbing and heating?
Right now I focus on home service businesses in the UK, USA and Australia. That focus is why my results are consistent. If you are outside that, I am happy to point you toward someone better suited.
Ready to Talk?
If you run a plumbing, heating or home service business in the UK, USA or Australia and you want more calls from Google, get a free 15 minute video audit. I will show you your current Map Pack position, where your competitors are beating you, and what I would fix first.
No sales pressure. If I am not the right fit, I will tell you.
